NMM 5271. Bass ophicleide by Graves & Co., Winchester, ca. 1835. Brass. Twelve brass keys with flat, round key covers. One of but three bass ophicleides by Graves known to survive. Ex coll.:  Fred Benkovic, Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Purchase funds gift of Ruth and Robert B. Lamont, Aberdeen, South Dakota, 1992.
