Distributed by Richards Music Corporation, Elkhart, Indiana, 1961-1963, while Reynolds was a subsidiary of the Richards Music Corp. (original warranty card preserved). Serial no. 40048. Model FL08. Boehm system, closed hole. Two sections. Stamped on head joint at tenon: MFG. BY / F. A. REYNOLDS CO. / INC. / 40048 / CLEVELAND, OHIO / E [flat sign]. Nickel-silver plated. Fifteen nickel-silver-plated keys. Total length, 22-1/2" (570 mm). Arne B. Larson Estate, 1989.
NMM 10694. Flute in C by H. N. White Co., Cleveland, ca. 1960. Serial no. C101595. Boehm system, closed hole. Four sections. Stamped on head joint at tenon: CLEVELAND / THE H. N. WHITE CO. / CLEVE, O.; stamped under body at tenon and on foot-joint rib: C101595. Nickel-silver plated. Fifteen nickel-silver-plated keys. Total length, 26-1/2" (673 mm). Arne B.
