Stamped on foot: MONZANI / 3 OLD BOND · STR / & 100 · CHEAPSIDE / LONDON; on head: MONZANI / LONDON / (in a circle) 81; upper body: MONZANI / LONDON / 4; on lower body: MONZANI / LONDON. Number 81. Cocus, ivory ferrules. Graduated, ivory screw-cap. Patented key system, 1807. Seven silver keys in integral wood mounts. Closed keys: c'', B-flat, G-sharp, short F, D-sharp. Articulated keys: c'-sharp, c'. Lowest note c'. Total length, 670.7 mm. Sounding length, 597.0 mm. Ex coll.: Philip A. T. Bate, London. Arne B. Larson Collection, 1979.

Stamped on upper body: [Crown] / MONZANI & Co / 24 DOVER ST / LONDON; on head and lower body: [Crown] / MONZANI & Co; on foot: PATENT / KEYS. Number 1043. Boxwood, ivory ferrules. Patented key system, 1807. Patent of 1812 feature: lower body with integral foot. Seven silver keys in integral wood mounts. Closed keys: c'', B-flat, G-sharp, short F, D-sharp. Articulated keys: c'-sharp, c'. Lowest note c'. Total length (no head cap), 635.9 mm. Sounding length, 583.5 mm. Arne B. Larson Collection, 1979.
