This Fender Bullet Bass has an exceptionally short scale, with only 26″ of vibrating string length, rather than the standard 34″ for the Precision Bass. It was purchased by the donor while stationed in Japan at Yokota Air Base near Tokyo, and was likely a special model for the Japanese market. Instead of being stenciled with the model name on the headstock, it says only Fender ELECTRIC BASS. There is no serial number.
