The two guitars in the foreground are on loan to the NMM and include a prototype Avante Garde Cutaway model guitar by James D'Aquisto (New York, October 4, 1988) from the Louise Palazola Collection and a New Yorker model guitar by James D'Aquisto (New York, May 3, 1982) from the Erwin Gudelsky Collection.
